"That would be a poor test to determine your strength." Shade replied. He blinked in surprise as SlaiT suddenly dissapeared into the shadows. Then suddenly SlaiT re-appeared right in front of him. Shade barely had time to register what had happened before SlaiT slashed once more at his chest, deepening the wound that was already there. Hissing in anger and pain, he stumbled backwards, but regained his balance and remained standing.
The full moon was now at its highest point in the night sky. Half obscured by clouds, it cast jagged rays of light down through the trees, dimly illuminating the scenery. At this point in time, Shade felt his bloodlust again, only stronger, so strong that his sight misted red, drowning out all other thoughts and feelings, even numbing the pain from his wounds. Right now, he only had one goal; to kill. "Meh heh heh...is that all you've got?" he asked, his voice a strange, scratchy growl. Without another moment's hesitation, he rushed forwards and attacked SlaiT, slashing and stabbing at his opponent in a frenzied whirlwind of lightning-fast strikes.
